Dreaming and Scheming
It’s been a busy week.
Not a physical busy, more of a mental busy. There were several proposals for shows and grants due this week — of course, those things never seem to make it out the door until the last minute — along with juggling and planning for the three shows I have coming later this year. Mix in the fact that I want to keep up with my blog, the New York Times West of Chelsea interviews, my Etsy shop and painting (hello, that is what this is all about!), and I feel a little like my head is going to pop!
Just to prove (to myself, at least) that I am still a painter — I’m posting this brand new painting Pink Isotopes. Hope you enjoy the painting and the weekend!

Oh my gosh Nancy, I LOVE this new painting! I can’t imagine how breathtaking your work is “in person”. I wish I lived close enough to come to one of your shows. Luckily though, I am at least able to come here and enjoy the eye candy. I often say how fortunate I feel to live at this time because otherwise, I’d never have had the pleasure to admire and be inspired by artists like you. Pink Isotopes is so rich and vibrant and ethereal all at the same time. Thank you for sharing again…Elizabeth
Dear Elizabeth, you never fail to turn my day around with your sweet words and Joie de vivre!
It’s downright contagious!
Maybe sometime I’ll have a show in Charlotte and we can meet in person.

I loveloveLOVE this new painting!!! I really enjoy the colors and the depth!
I know just how you feel Nancy! I work 40 hours a week at my day job and I find it very hard to do all the marketing, finding shows to apply for, my Etsy shop, blog, taking photographs, etc. I’m going to have to find balance somehow!
Your new painting is beautiful!

Thanks Melissa!
You should pat yourself on the back, I just visited you blog and your beautiful work and wonder how you do it all.
Best,
Nancy
Thanks Ameya, for your sweet comment! Sorry to take so long getting back to you, I’ve been in Michigan camping with my family. xo
